Jakarta

Once again serious problems are encountered by the cheap electric scooter made in India, Ola. One of the users suffered a sudden fracture of the front shock absorber.

Quoted by CartSince its initial launch, the Ola S1 Pro has encountered several quality and reliability issues related to its software as well as mechanical components. One of the most common problems is damage to the shock absorber unit or front suspension.

An Ola S1 Pro owner named Sanjeev Jain through a post on the Facebook group of the public group Ola Electric complained about the problem. Sanjeev said his bike suffered a faulty front shock absorber six days after receiving the electric scooter.

The image Sanjeev posted on the social media group shows that the S1 Pro’s front suspension unit has been completely damaged. There are no visible signs of an impact or accident and it appears that the suspension broke on its own or may have shifted after hitting a pothole or speed camera obstacle.

Ola has come under heavy criticism for several quality issues and this is not the first time such issues have been reported. Many owners of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter have complained about this problem on social media.

A few months ago, an owner of Assam’s S1 Pro also claimed that his son was injured by a scooter that malfunctioned while he was driving.

In addition to the suspension crash issue, many other S1 Pro owners have reported other issues such as software malfunction issues, which include the scooter going into reverse mode on its own and sudden spikes in acceleration without giving any warning.

An S1 Pro user from Maharashtra also reported a fire, which attracted the attention of many. Such quality problems not only disturb Ola Electric’s image, but also make us think twice about buying an eco-friendly scooter whose prices start at 79,999 rupees (15.4 million rupees).
