Again no victory in the Premier League darts for Dimitri Van den Bergh (PDC-9). Our fellow countryman also went down against good friend and former world champion Peter Wright.

Van den Bergh had his first game of the tournament against the Portuguese José De Sousa, which caused him to drop out of the top four in the standings. Also against Wright it did not go smoothly because ‘Dancing Dimi’ lost 8-5.
As a result, Van den Bergh is stuck on 15 points, good for a fifth place while only the top four advance to the semi-finals. Van den Bergh has one point less than Jonny Clayton, three less than De Sousa (who won against Clayton) and Nathan Aspinall, and four less than leader Michael van Gerwen.
