These were harsh words spoken by US President Joe Biden during his speech in Warsaw on Saturday evening. In addition to calling Putin a “slayer,” Biden said “that man should not remain in power.” That statement even had to be corrected by the White House after a response from the Kremlin. According to the Belgian political scientist David Criekemans, Europe will have to pay the price for those harsh words: “In this way, they threaten to turn Europe into a battlefield.”
