The Norwegian musician Alan Walker has reportedly sold the rights to his music to the American investment company GoldState Music.
It gets VG informed by the 25-year-old’s manager, Gunnar Greve.
VG writes that the rights have been sold for over NOK 420 million.
– The more success Alan has in the future, the more impact it has on his catalog. And I think that Alan’s big opportunity is to conquer larger parts of the American market. He is huge in Asia, huge in Europe – and an important artist in the US, but I think he has much greater potential here, says the head of the investment company, Charles Goldstuck, to the newspaper.
Goldstuck has previously worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Foo Fighters and Justin Timberlake.
