Alan Wake II is a game survival horror first Remedy Entertainment. They wanted to really connect the gameplay and mystery story deep and layered.
“It’s no secret that we are eagerly pursuing the opportunity to return to the story Alan Wake over these years,” said Sam Lake (creative director of Remedy Entertainment).
“All that hard work has brought us here. The stars are aligned. It’s happening now and we know the community is just as excited as we are to see the chapter Alan Wake next is revealed. Alan Wake II is a game survival horror our first, a genre that lets us dive deeper than ever to build intense atmospheres and twisted, layered psychological stories.”

After announcing Alan Wake II, Remedy Entertainment will be gone “for a while” and will return when they are ready to show more details regarding the game in the summer of 2022.
“We knew it was going to be a pretty scary experience,” Lake said at The Game Awards 2021.
Alan Wake II confirmed to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Epic Games Store) in 2023.
