We are exactly one week away from the release of the expected survival horror Alan Wake 2, and the developers from Remedy have finally shared some pretty important information today.
Let’s start with what will be of interest to all players. We’ve known for a while that the game will be released on October 27th, but now Remedy has announced exact times for individual bands. We learned that for this our Central European game will arrive October 27 at 6:00 in the morning. You can see the times in other zones below.

In addition, we have a table that will be of particular interest to PC players, as it contains HW requirements. As for those minimalwhich targets low settings, 1080p resolution (with DLSS/FSR on Quality mode, so 720p internally) and 30 FPS, you’ll need at least a GeForce graphics card RTX 2060 from Nvidia or Radeon RX 6600 from AMD. A relatively old piece is recommended as a processor Intel Core i5-7600K (should be enough for higher settings Ryzen 7 3700X), the Northlight engine has already proven to be quite CPU-friendly in the past. As far as RAMshould be enough 16 GB (even for all presets), and it is required 90 GB disk space. Remedy mentions SSD onlyso HDD probably won’t even be supported.
When you want to max out the game, i.e. high settings, 4K and 60 FPS (but without ray tracing)you will need graphics RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT with the fact that you must have upscaling turned on to Performance mode (in this case, upscale from 1080p).

If ray tracing you will want, so you should own at least RTX 3070 or RX 6800 XT, where Remedy promises 30 FPS for medium details, low ray tracing and 1080p resolution. Again, you need to have upscaling turned on (specifically Quality, so internally 720p).
If you want the best experience in 4K (but Performance upscaling mode, so internally 1080p) at high details and with path tracing turned on with the highest setting at 60 FPSyou will need a graphics card RTX 4080.
