Alan Wake 2 Confirmed to Have Performance Mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X, But Not on Series S

Developer Remedy recently confirmed that while Alan Wake 2 is designed to run at 30 frames per second, thus retaining all the visual flair the game has to offer, there will also be a so-called Performance Mode when it launches on October 27. This means PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X gamers can choose to sacrifice graphics for better fluidity.

But what about Xbox Series S?Unfortunately, there’s no option there, as Remedy has now moved toGame InformerConfirmed that Performance Mode does not apply to Series S, so the expected frame rate of 30 frames per second will be applied:

“Game Informer reached out to Remedy to ask if the mode is skipping consoles. Remedy confirmed to Game Informer today that there will not be a performance mode for Alan Wake 2 on Xbox Series S.
