Studio prepares Remedy Entertainment Next October to launch the second part of the horror game Alan Wake, in which the journey of writer Alan’s confrontation with his worst nightmares will be completed. This time there will not be one main character in the game as in the first part, but there will be two characters, the well-known writer Alan Wake and the detective Saga Anderson, who is the new character. Sometimes we will control the writer and sometimes we will control the investigator, as the game includes two worlds and two different stories.
These details about the two characters we got to know in an event PlayStation Showcase In which we went through the story of Alan Wake 2 and we also saw some quick snapshots of the game’s gameplay. In addition to these details, Remedy studio, the developer of the game, revealed more details about the expected game, and those details are related to the way the game world is designed.
The developer recently published a new behind-the-scenes video of the awaited horror game, in which game director Kyle Rowley revealed new details related to the design of the game world. The director says that unlike the first part, the second part will contain regions “more open” Any semi-open areas can be explored similar to in God of War, while players can return to visit previous locations again and continue exploring.
While it has also been confirmed that many of the famous locations in the first part of Alan Wake will return in the sequel such as the restaurant and Cauldron Lake, but those locations will be more expanded, and players can freely explore them as they did not have the opportunity to do so in the first part.
Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 17th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC only, and will be available digitally only in order to reduce its price, as it is available for $ 60 on consoles and $ 50 on PC. We’ll see the game’s gameplay showcased at the Summer Game Fest event on June 8th.
