“We all have broken hearts. Alan had an amazing joke and a wonderfully dry sense of humor. He was a devoted and admired husband, father and grandfather. The family has always been his focus, “according to Planet Radio, Lancaster Dayle’s widow said.

“We share with great sorrow the news of the death of the Status Quo legend Alan Lancaster. It has been a great honor to work with Alan in recent years. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, “says Barrel And Squidger Records on Twitter.

The band Status Quo confirmed their legendary status, among other things, in 1985, when they opened a Live Aid concert at London’s Wembley Stadium, probably the most famous song Rocking All Over The World.
