Alan, a former player with an extensive track record in Portugal and current director of institutional relations at Sp. Braga has filed a lawsuit against Electronic Arts (EA) for using his image and name in the FIFA video game without his authorization, reported Journal de Notícias. According to the same source, the Luso-Brazilian is asking for a sum of 778 thousand euros. Apparently, Alan is claiming, with interest already included, 770,000 euros from the company that created the FIFA video games for material damage to his personality and for improper use of his image and name. To this figure are added around 8 thousand euros for non-pecuniary damage. It should be remembered that, in the recent past, Portuguese players and athletes playing in Portugal have already taken similar measures.
