Alam Ganjar Recounts Chat with Gibran Rakabuming Raka During Presidential Candidate Debate Break

Jakarta

Son of presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Nature, recounts the moment when he chatted with vice presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka during a break in the presidential candidate debate. Alam said he exchanged greetings and touched on political matters a little.

“Just say hi, ‘How are you, bro?’ kept asking ‘Ms. Selvi isn’t coming?’ “He said he was going home because he was sick, he was afraid for some reason,” said Alam after attending the presidential candidate debate at the KPU, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/12/2023).

Alam said he had a good relationship with the sons of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). He said he was also close to PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep.

“Close, with Mas Gibran, close with Mas Kaesang,” said Alam.

He said there was a little political discussion in the chat. He emphasized healthy competition for the 2024 elections.

“Slight bumps, but keep the enthusiasm, give encouragement because we are competing in a healthy way,” he said.

It is known that three 2024 presidential candidates held their first debate tonight at the KPU conveying their ideas and vision and mission. In the middle of the debate break, there was an interesting moment when Gibran Rakabuming Raka greeted Ganjar Pranowo’s son, Alam Ganjar.

This happened during the break in segment 5. Gibran and Alam Ganjar were standing next to a line of supporters of Ganjar and Mahfud. The two shook hands and chatted.

Gibran seemed to put his hands together in front of his chest, Alam then gave a thumbs up sign. Gibran also gave Ganjar’s son a two thumbs up signal.

They spoke briefly. Nature occasionally put her arm around Gibran’s shoulder. The two then clasped hands before returning to their respective seats.
