The Delon family is torn by tensions over the legacy of 88-year-old patriarch Alain Delon. While the legendary actor is still alive, his children are already waging a merciless war.
Anthony Delon denounces the actions of his sister Anouchka
Anthony Delon filed a lawsuit against his sister Anouchka. He accuses her of having hidden crucial information from him about the state of health of their father Alain Delon, whom he considers to be “at the end of his life”.
According to Anthony, Anouchka would have concealed cognitive tests revealing signs of deficiency in their father. These examinations could have influenced the complaint filed against Hiromi Rollin, Alain Delon’s personal assistant, which was ultimately dismissed.
Anthony also claims that Anouchka is trying to move their father to Switzerland, against his wishes to end his days in his property in Loiret. He sees tax motivations linked to inheritance.
Alain Delon plans to sue his son for defamation
For his part, Alain Delon does not remain inactive. Supported by his lawyer, the French film star is considering legal action against his son Anthony for defamation.
Family tensions are exacerbated by mutual complaints between Anthony and Anouchka. The latter herself filed a complaint against her brother for defamation and harassment.
Inheritance, bone of contention for the Delons
However, according to Anthony Delon, inheritance is not the crux of the problem. He affirms that the inheritance distribution has already been recorded by their father:
- 50% for Anouchka
- 25% pour Anthony
- 25% for Alain-Fabien
He understands his father’s traditional choice, while specifying that he would have opted for an equal distribution between the three children.
Favoritism and competition between brothers and sisters
What irritates Anthony Delon is the preferential treatment that Anouchka would have always benefited from. He denounces the flagrant imbalance in Alain Delon’s parental attention, estimated at 90% for his daughter and only 10% for his son Alain-Fabien.
Despite a career in cinema, Alain-Fabien would have lived his entire life in the encroaching shadow of his sister. An unhealthy form of competition that poisons sibling relationships.
This open and public war within the Delon clan is painful to see, especially when the patriarch, diminished by age, should be able to enjoy a peaceful end of life surrounded by his family. Instead, his children are tearing each other apart in an anticipated inheritance battle unworthy of their name and their father.
