The bulletin intends to present the epidemiological situation of dengue, chikungunya and Zika in the seasonal period, emphasizing the importance of intensifying the control of Aedes aegypti mosquito breeding sites, and the organization of health services to prevent the significant increase in cases and deaths.
From January to August this year, according to the State Department of Health (Sesau), 1,479 cases of dengue were registered in Alagoas, a drop of 19.1%, when compared to the same period in 2020, with 1.8 thousand. No confirmation of deaths in the state.
