Al-Wehda Club Wants Loan Extension for Brazilian Player Matthews Pereira

A private source revealed to Al-Riyadiah that the management of the Emirati Al-Wehda club wants to extend the loan of Brazilian Matthews Pereira, the player of its first football team, for another season.
Al-Hilal Club loaned Pereira to Al-Wahda last January until the end of the current season, and the Brazilian has a contract with Al-Azraq Al-Asmi until 2026.
The same source indicated that the management of the Emirati club did not make an offer to buy Pereira’s contract, but it will study the matter until it receives the technical report from Dutchman Arno Buettenweg, the coach of the team, after completing the two matches against the Royal Moroccan Army in the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs.
The source added that there is a serious desire from the Emirati unit to extend the loan, however, the purchase of the contract will be subject to the technical report and the amount of the sale.
According to the “Transfer Market” website, which specializes in player information, Pereira played 10 matches with the Emirati club, during which he scored a goal and made 4, and the total minutes he played reached 743.
