A large number of artists were keen to attend the screening of the Al Shanab film and take souvenir photos on the sand carpet, as part of the activities of the sixth session of the El Gouna Film Festival today, Sunday, December 17.
The show witnessed the presence of: Sarah Abdel Rahman, Cynthia Khalifa, Hossam Al-Husseini, Ola Rushdi, Angie Kiwan, Bushra, and Tamer Habib.
The screening witnessed the arrival of star Laila Elwi, the heroine of the film, who took pictures with the rest of the work team. Also present were: director Karim El-Shenawy, Kamal Zadeh, director Omar Al-Zuhairi, member of the festival’s jury, artist Saba Mubarak, member of the jury, Asma Galal, Nisreen Tafesh, Dalia. Shawqi, Muhammad Shaheen.
The movie “Al Shanab” starring Laila Alawi, Lebleba, Sawsan Badr, Asma Jalal, Heidi Karam, Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, Khaled Sarhan, Ali Al-Tayeb, Ibtihal Al-Sariti, Hassan Malek, Sulafa Ghanem, Noreen Abu Saada, Ahmed Essam, Heba Yousry, written by Ahmed Raouf and Islam Hosam, directed by Ayten Amin.
The film’s team includes director of photography Jalal Al-Zaki, clothing designer Nahed Nasrallah, interior designer Yasmine Atef, Shahira Nassef, artistic producer Ahmed Abdullah, producer Rasha Jawdat, executive director Sarah Karim, editor Khaled Moait, and sound engineer Mustafa Shaaban.
The events of the film revolve around a light family context, about a sudden death of a member of the Al Shanab family, and the family members are forced to go to Alexandria to participate in the funeral and condolences procedures. During the three days of mourning and with this large family gathering that includes the four sisters, their children and grandchildren, comedic situations explode. .
