GAZA – al-Qassam Brigades, military wing Hamas, announced a series of achievements in the 99th day of war against military aggressors Israel in Gaza, Palestine. One of them, they blew up four Zionist special forces soldiers while heading towards an open tunnel east of Khan Younis, Gaza.
“Al-Qassam fighters were able to detonate an anti-personnel device against a Zionist special force consisting of 4 soldiers who were advancing towards an open tunnel east of the city of Khan Younis, leaving them dead and injured,” the group’s military wing, Hamas, said. Today, the Israel-Hamas war has entered its 100th day. The Zionist regime launched an indiscriminate invasion of Gaza from 7 October 2023 with the aim of eliminating Hamas and repatriating all hostages held in Gaza.
As time went by, several other goals were added, such as the forced or voluntary expulsion of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
But throughout Israel’s longest war in the Gaza Strip, the capabilities of Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups have remained largely unchanged. The resistance continues, causing heavy losses to the Zionist forces day by day.
“The al-Qassam Brigades targeted 4 Zionist Merkava tanks and a troop carrier with al-Yassin 105 shells east of the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip,” continued the al-Qassam Brigades announcement.
“The resistance in Gaza carried out some close combat in various fighting axes, including Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, and Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where heavy weapons were used amidst the heavy artillery shelling of the occupation forces.”
“Al-Qassam fighters were able to immediately eliminate two Zionist soldiers from zero distance east of the city of Khan Younis,” added the al-Qassam Brigades.
