In a strategic move during the winter transfer market, Al-Nassr Saudi Club set a price of 15 million Saudi riyals to agree to sell the contract of its prominent player, Khaled Al-Ghannam.
This step comes in light of Al-Ettifaq Club’s interest in including the player in its ranks, as the club offered an amount of 12 million riyals, in addition to an annual salary of 7.5 million riyals, as part of the deal.
According to information received from informed sources within the Al-Nasr administration, we have been assured that there are ongoing consultations within the corridors of Al-Nasr Club to evaluate the offer submitted by the agreement, which appears to have been well received as it is close to the required value of 15 million.
On the other hand, the agreement management informed its counterpart, Al-Nasr, that it would not be able to add one riyal to the 12 million.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ghannam’s contract with Al-Nasr Club will expire next summer, as he will be able to sign with any other club without the need for the approval of his current club, given that he has entered the free period of his contract.
In the coming hours, Al-Nasr is expected to officially accept the agreement offer and announce its transfer.
