Ranked 2nd in the Saudi First Division Championship three lengths behind the leader, Al-Nassr has decided to part ways with his coach. Rudi Garcia’s contract expired next June but the club’s leaders preferred to put an end to it in view of the latest results but also of the tensions in the locker room. According to several concordant sources, the former coach of Lille and AS Roma was no longer in the odor of holiness with a good part of the team’s executives. Rudi Garcia was replaced in stride by Dinko Jelicic who will take over for the last 7 matches of the Championship.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates will face Al Hilal on April 18 with the aim of returning to victory as part of the 24th day.
I decided to run a club #victory Officially ending the contractual relationship with the first team coach, Mr. Rudi Garcia.
We appreciate all the efforts he made #victory and wish him success. pic.twitter.com/1sJCZBUtaS– Al-Nasr Saudi Club (@AlNassrFC) April 13, 2023
