Al-Nasr managed to sign Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic from Inter in the summer transfer window, but now FIFA has banned the club from registering new contracts, be it domestic or international signings.
The decision concerns three transfer windows and stems from the fact that the club did not pay the allowances due to Leicester City in a £ 14 million deal for Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa, who played for CSKA Moscow. Al-Nasr are rumored to owe Leicester £390,000 and have been punished for not paying the money so far. The ruling was originally published in October 2021 and has now been banned.
Musa played for the Saudi club from 2018 to 2020.
