Al-Murtada: Resigned government constitutionally obligated to carry out its duties – Al-Binaa Newspaper

The Minister of Culture in the interim government, Judge Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada, announced that “we will not allow the cabinet session (the day before) to be blown up yesterday, as there was no interest in anyone or the nation to blow it up.”
In an interview with ‘National News Agency’, Al-Murtada said, ‘We wanted to take into consideration the concerns of some and have helped to limit the perplexing issues to life files which do not tolerate any slowdown or postponement.’
And he stressed that “the outgoing government has a mandate, according to the constitution, to continue to carry out its tasks, especially those that are urgent and cannot tolerate the postponement. On this basis, the cabinet met to carry out its tasks towards patients and official institutions”.
He concluded, noting that “the stage requires all of us to practice the highest levels of wisdom and awareness, in a spirit of cooperation away from negativity and emotionalism.”
