Former Algerian national team coach Abdel Rahman Mahdaoui has died at the age of 73 of an illness. Mahdaoui previously coached many Algerian clubs, as well as the Algerian first national team and the Algerian military team, and with him won the military football world championship.
Among the most important clubs led by Mahdawi are: Nasr Hussein Dey, Wydad Tlemcen, Al-Ansar Al-Saudi, Al-Taawun, MC Algiers, Ittihad El-Harrach, Al-Ahly Bengasi, Libya, MC Bejaia, Ghali Mascara and finally Tajnanet Defense.
