The president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, said he was “disappointed” by the elimination of his team in the semifinals of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund which he attributed to bad luck.
«We are very disappointed by the result, we are sad, I think we deserved more. We hit the post four times, last week two other times, the ball didn’t want to go in. The players and the coach have given everything,” commented the president, who congratulated the Germans.
“It’s difficult to accept, we thought we could go to the final, we are disappointed for ourselves and for the fans,” he said.
«I am proud of my team, the youngest in Europe. We have reached the semi-finals three times in five years. But it is not our goal, it is to reach the final. But football is like that, you have to accept it and, sometimes, it’s not fair,” he said. EFE
