Press reports revealed that Al-Ittihad club officials had decided the fate of Portuguese player Joao Felipe “Jota” whether to leave or stay with the club this season.
During the recent period, the Union’s management received many offers to obtain Jota’s services from Fenerbahce, Turkey, and Al-Rayyan, Qatar, to loan the player for a season.
According to the same reports; The federation’s management rejected all offers made to the player at the present time, making Jota close to continuing with the team.
It was reported that the Federation had decided on the departure of Brazilian Marcelo Grohe, the team’s goalkeeper, and that Jota would be included in the list that will be announced on September 15.
Al-Ittihad officials made their decision regarding Grohe’s departure, after they signed goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf, during the last transfer period, coming from Al-Hilal.
