The Riyadh derby between Al Hilal vs Al Nassr was fierce. Cristiano Ronaldo cs was beaten 0-3 by his rival.
The Saudi Pro League match between Al Hilal vs Al Nassr was held at King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh, Saturday (2/12/2023) early morning WIB. The hosts were threatening from the start.
In the third minute, Aleksandar Mitrovic had a chance to break through Al Nassr’s goal. Receiving a pass in front of the goal, he failed to score after his shot went wide to the right.
Salem Al Dawsari put Al Nassr under pressure again a minute later. This time, his shot still flew into the goal.
Ten minutes of walking, Al Nassr was having quite a hard time. The visitors presented a new opportunity in the 11th minute, through Anderson Talisca’s kick, which was also off the mark.
Throughout the first half, there were almost no significant threats from Al Nassr. Ronaldo is quite difficult to work up front.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal had several chances, but poor finishing became an obstacle. Until halftime, the score remained 0-0.
In the second half, Al Nassr took the initiative to attack. Several threats were made through Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic, but they did not produce results.
Having fun attacking, Al Nassr even conceded. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was able to take advantage of Saud Abdulhamid’s pass in the penalty box and hit Al Nassr’s goal. The score became 1-0 in the 63rd minute.
Five minutes later, Al Nassr had a chance to equalize the score through Ronaldo. However, CR7’s efforts went astray.
Entering injury time, Al Nassr was still having difficulties. Meanwhile Al Hilal was even able to add a goal in the extra minute.
Aleksandar Mitrovic scored two goals against Al Nassr in injury time. First with a header in the 90th minute, using a corner kick. Mitrovic then scored the second goal in the 90+3 minute, after receiving Milinkovic-Savic’s pass.
Winning 3-0 frustrated Al Nassr players. Meanwhile, Al Hilal received a red card for Ali Al-Bulayhi. The score lasts until the game ends.
This result makes Al Hilal more comfortable leading the Saudi Arabian Pro League standings with 41 points from 15 matches. Meanwhile, Al Nassr is stuck in second place with 34 points, 7 points adrift of its rival.
