Al-Hilal presented a precious gift to the leading Jeddah Union, by defeating Al-Nasr, who finished in second place, 2-0, on Tuesday, in the twenty-fifth round of the Roshen Professional League.
Al-Hilal decided to win with two penalty kicks, to collect three precious points, and deprive Al-Nassr of sharing the lead with Al-Ittihad Jeddah.
Al-Hilal got a penalty kick as a result of a handball against Ali Al-Omari, Al-Nasr defender, who tried to block Odion Ighalo’s shot, so that the Nigerian striker advanced to pay, scoring the first goal for the landowners in the 42nd minute.
The referee awarded a new penalty kick to Al Hilal in the 62nd minute, from which Ighalo scored the second goal for him and his team.
The victory raised Al-Hilal’s balance to 49 points in fourth place, and Al-Nasr’s balance stopped at 53 points in second place, three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad, while Al-Shabab occupied third place with 50 points.
