Al-Hilal prepares to make huge offer to sign Neymar from PSG – CBS Sports reports

Very well informed about Saudi Arabia and its desire to recruit players in Europe, the American media CBS Sports dropped a small bomb in the last few hours. After missing Lionel Messi, despite an offer of more than 400 million euros per year, the Saudi club Al-Hilal intends to try his luck with Neymar.

According to CBS Sports, a delegation from Al-Hilal flew to Paris last Friday to sound out Neymar and his entourage. The Saudi club, 18 times champion of Saudi Arabia, would have the intention to offer the Brazilian emoluments equivalent to those of Cristiano Ronaldo, that is to say around 200 million euros per year, everything included.

And to convince PSG, with whom Neymar is under contract until 2027, Al-Hilal would be willing to offer 45 M€ according to this same source. If the PSG does not hide its desire to separate from the Brazilian, it remains to be seen whether the latter will agree to give up on his European career at only 31 years old.

Until then, Neymar has mainly been announced in the sights of Premier League clubs, from Chelsea to Manchester United via Newcastle. Tracks which are however not very hot at this stage. In Saudi Arabia, he would join Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr) and Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad) in a championship that would recruit several other stars of European football.
