Al Dhafra, August 12, 2020, WAM / Al Dhafra Region Municipality, represented by the municipal presence teams, and in cooperation with strategic partners, organized summer sustainability activities, coinciding with the Year of Sustainability, with the participation of school students during the summer vacation.
The events included many recreational activities and workshops that enhance the concept of sustainability and develop children’s abilities. A paper collection workshop was implemented according to color, a clown game and a balance game, in addition to a workshop for forming facial expressions, in addition to sports activities such as beach soccer, sand castles and various recreational activities.
The summer activities aim to educate children and enhance environmental awareness of the importance of identifying sustainable agricultural patterns and encourage them to plant and take care of them. Children interact with the activities and learn about the types of seedlings.
