Al Dhafra, October 25, 2023 – The Al Dhafra Region Municipality implemented 10,660 procedures during its inspection and awareness visits to facilities and institutions operating in the region for the third quarter of 2023, which included inspection, health licensing, and the extent of compliance with regulations and laws.
The visits included non-food establishments subject to health supervision, such as beauty centers, barbershops, industrial workshops, children’s entertainment halls, swimming pools, and water tanks and coolers.
During these visits, municipal teams issued 860 alerts and 236 warnings, in addition to following up and closing 208 warnings, and issuing 7 violations, with the aim of confirming compliance with regulations and preserving public health and community safety.
The visits, procedures and awareness campaigns implemented by the municipality aim to preserve public health and community safety, and ensure the implementation of legislation, regulations, laws and guidelines, in addition to addressing complaints received about activities subject to health oversight, promoting awareness and field health inspection, and educating workers, supervisors and owners about health conditions.
