And the song performed by the Algerian artist, Bilal Takini, was not only successful in trending Algeria, but also spread to other Maghreb countries, from Morocco to Libya, passing through Tunisia.

The success of the song is a reflection of the success of the series, which garnered more than one hundred million views on YouTube during the month of Ramadan, in addition to the popularity and controversy it raised.

The work occupied the Algerians, as was evident from their comments on the communication sites throughout the period of its presentation, and sparked controversy and criticism about it that reached Parliament.

And “Al-Dama” is a drama about the popular neighborhood of Bab Al-Wadi in Algeria, where the events take place in two close and different times, and it deals with the game of Al-Dama.

The work was written by Sarah Bartima, directed by Yahya Muzahim, starring Bayona, Mustafa Laraibi, Murad Khan, Reem Takeusht, Boualem Bennani and Aida Ababsa.
