The Narcotics Control Department ambushed two Bahrainis who possessed, possessed, and sold narcotic substances in conditions other than those legally authorized, for the purpose of abuse and trafficking.
The incident indicates the receipt of information from confidential sources indicating that a Bahraini accused possessed narcotic drugs. With the intention of trading, using, and earning money through it in one of the apartments that he rented for the same purpose, and upon verifying the accuracy of the information, the administration assigned one of the people (the secret source) to document his relationship with the accused, and he told him that he wanted to buy the narcotic hashish for a value of 600 dinars, and to pay him an amount of 400 dinars in cash. The remaining amount was paid through the “Benefit” application, and they agreed together that the delivery and receipt process would take place in the accused’s apartment. The first accused came at the agreed upon time and informed (the secret source) that he would bring the narcotic substances from the second accused. He left the apartment and went to the second accused who came with him. The second defendant then received the agreed upon amount from the “secret source” and handed him the narcotic materials.
In turn, the (secret source) gave the corporal the agreed-upon signal to come, and the apartment was raided and they were arrested.
Upon searching the second defendant’s car, a group of narcotic substances were found. The two defendants also admitted to possessing narcotic substances for the purpose of selling and using. It was proven in the criminal examination evidence of the defendants that they had a criminal record, and had previously been accused in similar incidents.
