The Tenders and Auctions Board, which is responsible for monitoring government procurement and contracts, opened bids for 15 tenders for various public agencies in the Kingdom at its weekly session yesterday, Monday. The total number of bids that competed to win the tenders reached 91 bids from various local and foreign companies. The total value of the lowest bids in yesterday’s session amounted to 1.75 million dinars.
In details, the Ministry of Labor won 3 tenders to provide 17 Bahraini security guards to provide a guarding service for the Ministry’s building and its affiliated buildings, and to provide 25 Bahraini cleaners to provide the cleaning service and 3 Bahraini light vehicle drivers.
As for the Ministry of Works, it won 4 tenders, as the Council opened the bids for the reconstruction of the roads leading to the Bahrain National Quarry and the scrap area in Hafirah (Block 959), for which the Sante Excavation and Contracting Company submitted the lowest bid, at a value of 511 thousand dinars.
The Council also opened a tender to the Ministry for the time contract for the repair and maintenance of crash barriers on the main highways, for which “Amiri” Company submitted the lowest bid of 334 thousand dinars. It also opened to the Ministry a tender for consulting services for the design of sewage and treated water networks in various unserved areas ( The fourth stage).
Blaj Al-Jazair Real Estate Development Company won two tenders, the first for engineering supervision services for a water city project in Blaj Al-Jazair, for which Ismail Khonji Company submitted the lowest bid, at a value of 243 thousand dinars.
Bapco Supply Company won a tender; In order to request an offer to rent and operate commercial shops in 12 locations, Vip Time Bahrain submitted the lowest offer of 55 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received one tender; In order to provide quantity surveying services for the project of building the diplomatic complex in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for which Nabih Elias Azzam and Partners Company submitted the lowest bid of 41.8 thousand dinars.
The Council opened a tender for Bahrain Mumtalakat Company. With the aim of appointing internal auditors for Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, which was competed for by three companies, where Deloitte Middle East submitted the lowest bid at a value of 176 thousand dinars.
