His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in Washington today, Friday, July 21, 2023, with Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, Special Envoy at the US State Department to monitor the fight against anti-Semitism.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed in the field of promoting the values of tolerance and human coexistence between different religions, beliefs and cultures, confronting the ideology of fanaticism, extremism and hatred, spreading the culture of dialogue, pluralism and fraternity, and supporting efforts aimed at spreading peace and security and ending conflicts in the region.
Prospects for enhancing regional cooperation to achieve peace, stability and prosperity for the benefit of all the peoples of the region were also discussed, in addition to issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Washington, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Head of the Americas Affairs Sector, and the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
