The Minister of Social Development, Osama Al-Asfoor, issued a decision appointing a temporary board of directors for the Bahraini Real Estate Development Association, and the decision stated that he appoints a temporary board of directors for the association consisting of 8 members for a period of 4 months headed by Aref Hejres and the membership of each of: Abdul Ghaffar Al-Kooheji, Majid Haqbaz, Faisal Fakih, and Hamad Rajab Iyad Deeb, Maher Al-Shaer and Amin Al-Areedh.
The decision stipulates that the temporary council shall have the competencies prescribed for the board of directors in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Associations, Social and Cultural Clubs, private bodies working in the field of youth and sports, and private institutions promulgated by Decree Law No. (21) of 1989, and the basic system of the association. The temporary board of directors shall control all the association’s funds, records, books and documents.
