The Trends Center for Research and Consultation participated in the 9th Abu Dhabi Peace Forum, which was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel – Abu Dhabi, entitled “The Globalization of War and the Globalization of Peace… Requirements and Partnerships”, with the participation of numerous ministers, representatives of international organizations and officials of Islamic organizations. The centre’s participation was represented by a workshop and a special pavilion which included the most important research publications of the various ‘Trends’. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, said that the participation of the center in the work of the forum is part of its global vision and its knowledge research work aimed at anticipating the future and disseminating the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence, human brotherhood, the renunciation of violence and confrontation with extremism.
He added that the forum, which includes participants with a prominent position in the field of peace and tolerance, constitutes an important human interface that underlines the importance of teamwork, partnerships and solidarity for the good of people everywhere find, explaining the importance of the forum , which takes place in a critical and defining moment in human history, with the increasing pace of wars and conflicts in the world.
In turn, Sultan Al-Ali, deputy director of the “Trends” office in Dubai, said at the beginning of a seminar entitled “Spiritual and moral security in confrontation with the globalization of war” that the forum is being held at a global time decisive factor that has led to an increase in the negative repercussions on the spiritual security and psychological well-being of the communities and populations suffering as a result of these disorders.
He pointed out that historical events indicate that labor does not bear fruit, civilization does not flourish or advance, prosperity does not prevail or prevail, and progress does not develop except in the shadow of stability. Without security, life is not straight, eyes are not comforted and hearts are not calm.
Additionally, the Trends Center participated in the Peace Forum with a knowledge pavilion that featured many of the center’s various publications, especially those that shed light on the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence and refute the ideology of extremist Islamist movements. its research efforts that read the present and predict the future.
