The first team of Al-Ahly club’s volleyball men achieved a victory over its counterpart, the Omani team, Al-Seeb, with a score of “3-0”, in the fourth round of the group stage of the Arab Club Volleyball Championship, which Egypt will host from February 20 to March 3.
The results of the runs were as follows: “25-18”, “25-19”, “25-19”, and the match was held in Hall No. 2 of Cairo International Stadium.
The Qatari Al-Wakra team also achieved a victory over its counterpart, the Emirati team, Bani Yas, with a score of “3-1”, in the match that was held today, Friday, at five o’clock in the evening, in Hall No. 2 of the Cairo International Stadium.
The Iraqi North Refineries team defeated its counterpart, the Yemeni team, Khaibel Al-Mahra, with a score of “3-1”, in the match that was held today, Friday, at five o’clock in the evening, in Hall No. 3 of the Cairo International Stadium.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Al-Ahly team achieved victory in the first three rounds of the group stage of the Arab Championship, as it defeated the Iraqi North Refineries in the opening of the tournament, with a score of “3-0”.
Al-Ahly defeated the Emirati Bani Yas team in the second round, with a score of “3-0.” It also defeated the Yemeni team, Khaibel Al-Mahra, in the third round, with a score of “3-0.”
The Board of Directors succeeded in obtaining the approval of the Cairo Stadium Authority to provide three halls to host the tournament. The second and third halls will be designated for matches, while hall number four will receive training for the participating teams.
