Al-Ahly’s board of directors thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for congratulating the club after the soccer team won the bronze medal in the Club World Cup.
The Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club expressed, through an official statement issued by it today (Friday), its appreciation for the support and attention received by Egyptian sports under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his sponsorship of all sports clubs and champions.
The Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club stated that the support and interest in Egyptian sports will remain the greatest motivation for raising Egypt’s flag high in international forums.
The Board of Directors renewed the pledge and pledge to make every effort to support the nation’s institutions, in a way that would contribute to achieving all goals that serve the supreme interest of the country.
Al-Ahly crowned the bronze of the Clubs World Cup 2020 after defeating his Brazilian counterpart Palmeiras on Thursday, 3-2 in penalties, after the match ended in its original time with a goalless draw.
