Al-Ahly club confirmed the negative streak that the team’s players underwent, with the exception of Akram Tawfiq, in preparation for the Pyramids club meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday, in the framework of the Egyptian We League matches.
And according to what was published by the official website of the Al-Ahly club, the swab that the players underwent yesterday, Sunday, to detect the Corona virus, was negative for all players except Tawfiq.
It is scheduled that the swab will be repeated for Akram Tawfiq, to ensure that his sample is positive or negative, hours before the confrontation.
Al-Ahly will meet Pyramids on Tuesday evening at the Air Defense Stadium in the framework of the tenth round matches of the Egyptian Premier League.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly is currently at the top of the Egyptian league standings with 20 points, equally with Zamalek, while Pyramids are fifth with 13 points.
