Al-Ahly’s first team football team left Khartoum airport on its way to Cairo, after fighting the Sudanese Crescent in the sixth and final round of the group stage matches in the African Champions League.

The mission had gone to Khartoum airport after eating dinner on its way back to Cairo, and was accompanied by tight security, from the Sudanese army and police on the way from the residence hotel to the Khartoum airport.

Al-Ahly decided to qualify for the quarter-finals of the African Championship, after drawing with Al-Hilal with a goal for the same, in the match held between them yesterday evening Saturday, in the last round of the group stage.
