Ahmed Abu Abla, head of the Al-Ahly Medical Authority, revealed the five-point position of the injured team, indicating that Karim Nedved and Nasser Maher will hold group exercises next week.
Abu Abla said, in exclusive statements, Leela Koura: “Karim Nedved is doing well in his rehabilitation program, and he will finish his muscle measurements this week, and then he will participate in group exercises.”
He added, “Nasser Maher, who was suffering from a shoulder injury, will partially participate in the exercises within a week.”
And he continued, “Mohamed Mahmoud has started the last stage of rehabilitation, and will partially start participating in training after a full month.”
He explained: “Mahmoud Mitwalli is expected to be absent for a period of nine months, 6 months have passed, and he will recover from his cruciate ligament injury after 3 months, and the player is doing well in his qualifying program.”
Al-Ahly doctor concluded, “It is expected that Walid Suleiman will return to training within two or three weeks, before returning to participate in the matches after announcing his full readiness.”
Al-Ahly announced the absence of Salah Mohsen, the team’s striker, for 10 days (See the details).
Al-Ahly will resume training today, Sunday, at three in the afternoon, in preparation for the Sudanese Al-Merrikh match in the African Champions League.
It is reported that Al-Ahly, the champion of the competition, will host Al-Merrikh next Tuesday in the first round of the group stage competitions at Cairo Stadium.
