Riyadh- Al-Ahly beat Altai 4-1 thanks to Brazilian star Roberto Firmino’s double goal. In the Saudi Pro League match held in Taif, Ahli made a stunning comeback after falling behind by one goal in the first half thanks to former Liverpool player Firmino.
Bernard Mensah put Altai ahead in the 43rd minute. Firmino pulled Ahly level late in first-half injury time. Firmino himself put Ahli ahead in the 60th minute. Riyad Mahrez scored in the 82nd minute and Frank Kessey in the 88th minute for Ahli.
Ahli is third in the league with 43 points from 21 games. Hilal is leading with 56 points. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Annazar is second with 49 points. Tomorrow Annasar is facing Al Shabaab.
