‘Advertisement Khiladi’ Lags In Box Office But Akshay Kumar Leads In Commercials
Akshay Kumar became the actor who starred in most TV commercials in 2022. The data for July and September is now out. The report was just released by TM Adex, a division of Tam Media Research. Akshay Kumar has a 7% share in the number of advertisements.
Reports indicate that the actor has earned crores from the advertisements. After Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan are the stars who have acted in the most TV commercials.
Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan got 6% while Akshay Kumar got 7% of the advertisement share. But if we count the brands, Amitabh Bachchan has appeared in the advertisements of around 40 brands. Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are also featured in the brand’s ads.
Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon are the other major stars who have acted in TV commercials. In September, 29 percent of ads aired on TV featured celebrities.
Most of the movie stars appeared in it. This means that more than 80 percent of commercials are performed by movie stars. According to the report, 10% of sports stars and 4% of television stars have starred in commercials.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s films released this year have all been big flops. But he has managed to increase his stardom in commercials.
