The municipality of Aksakovo has provided shelter for 80 of the people in distress on the roads in the area. Mayor Atanas Stoilov informed about this, the regional administration in Varna announced.
The mayor has specified that the people are accommodated in premises of the municipality of Aksakovo, in the community center and in the Home for old people. Hot drinks have been provided for everyone – tea, coffee, water, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
Stoilov informed that the road situation on the territory of the municipality remains extremely difficult. It is difficult to break through to the smaller settlements because of the formed snowdrifts and snowdrifts. Many of the roads are impassable.
From 7:00 this morning, a ban on the movement of vehicles has also been imposed on the road Aksakovo – Aksakovska Panorama – Kichevo. The road Aksakovo – Dobrich remains closed to traffic.
BTA reminds that an orange code for dangerously strong wind has been announced for Eastern Bulgaria today. The municipalities of Varna, Valchi dol and Suvorovo declared a state of emergency.
