Representative Akmal Nagati, a member of the Senate for the Youth Coordination of Parties, said that they insisted in the coordination program of the next president that there be a law for permanent tax dispute resolution committees after measuring the dispute resolution committees that were formed in 2017 and 2019, stressing that these committees have borne fruit.
Representative Akmal Najati added, during his interview on the “Ninth” program with the journalist Youssef Al-Husseini, on Channel One, that these committees have achieved the elimination of a percentage of tax disputes in the courts, and they also suggested that the cost of tax compliance be reduced, continuing: “So that the investor examines He works, goes through the procedures and reviews, and it costs a large amount, and this amount must be reduced.”
He continued: “The most important need is to increase the tax revenue without imposing new taxes, and this is achieved with an easy equation. Increase the tax revenue without increasing the tax price, and the price will be fair and transparent. This will help, after a while, to include the largest amount of the informal economy and create tax incentives for small and micro enterprises.”
