Aki Linnanahde reflects on the Men’s turn to speak podcast about how his wife’s brain infarction has affected him.
Presenter Aki Linnanahde45, recalls Men’s turn to speak -podcast, a moment that stops when his Jonna-his wife had a stroke. According to Linnahti, about 10 years have passed since the incident.
At that time, Linnanahde came directly from the hospital to host Enbuske & Linnanahde Crew – program’s season finale. In the live broadcast, his guests were the Duudsonit group Jarno Laasala and Jukka Hildén.
Linnanahde reflects that even then she has been able to focus on her work despite the ups and downs of her private life.
– Of course, the worst was over in the sense that he had reached the hospital. The more heated situation was probably the night before, the presenter says in the episode.

Linnanahde emphasizes that, especially at that time, the threshold for canceling live TV broadcasts was really high. The host admits that he once made a broadcast even with a high fever.
– There can be a delusion that I am irreplaceable – at least in those times. But maybe it has more to do with a sense of responsibility, that I don’t want to leave others in trouble, the man reflects.
Linnanahde cannot say whether his wife’s illness brought new perspectives or insights into his life.
– Stupid to say that memories are precious when it comes to a case like this. But time does its job, as it does with everyone, he states.
According to the host, he started thinking about his life in a new way when his father died in 2019.
– I started thinking hard about who I am, because I could no longer get those answers from my father, Linnanahde says.
– Certainly that [itsetutkiskelu] already started with that brain infarction situation and accelerated after 2019. Of course, you understand the limitations of life. It sounds cliche, but we can’t know what’s going to happen. After all, it affects us if something creepy happens to those around us, even if everything is going well for us, he adds.
