GROZNY, December 3. /TASS/. Grozny “Akhmat” beat Moscow “Spartak” at home with a score of 2:1 in the match of the 17th round of the World – Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting took place in Grozny at the Akhmat Arena.
As part of the winners, Hamid Agalarov (34th minute) and Svetoslav Kovachev (48th minute) scored goals. Anton Zinkovsky (44) scored for Spartak.
In the 34th minute, Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal received a red card for pushing Akhmat striker Bernard Berisha, who was celebrating the goal. Berisha received a yellow card.
Akhmat beat Spartak for the first time since September 16, 2018, when the Grozny team won an away victory with a score of 2:1. After that, Spartak won six matches, four matches ended in a draw.
“Akhmat” rose to 13th place in the standings, the team scored 16 points. Spartak is seventh with 27 points. In the next round, “Akhmat” will host “Rostov” on December 9, “Spartak” will play at home with the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” on the same day.
