The oil service company Aker Solutions will rebuild the platform deck on the ConocoPhillips project off the coast of Norway. Work will begin immediately and the project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023, according to a statement on Friday.
Combined with previous subsea contracts Aker Solutions has previously been awarded for the development, the oil service company has now been given integrated responsibility for the entire field. In total, this amounts to a total of more than NOK 2.7 billion in cash for Aker Solutions, it is stated.

Aker Solutions has leading expertise in subsea solutions and top modifications, and we expect increased activity for tie-back projects in the future, says CEO Kjetel Digre in Aker Solutions.
