Nathan Aké, Manchester City’s Dutch defender, had to leave the match against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium after suffering a muscle problem in the right calfnine days before the confrontation against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
Added to the injury problems suffered by Pep Guardiola after the national team break, without three of his undisputed starters such as his starting goalkeeper Ederson Moraes and defenders Kyle Walker and John Stones, was the concern for Aké.
In the 25th minute of the first half at the Etihad, Aké fell on the grass and put his hand on his right calf asking for a change. The Manchester City doctors confirmed the bad feelings of the Dutch central defender who limped to the locker room.
In the absence of evidence confirming the muscle injury, Aké joins Manchester City’s list of doubts to visit the Santiago Bernabéu stadium on Tuesday, April 9. EFE
