jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Former Nunukan Police Chief AKBP Syaiful Anwar admitted that he made a mistake in abusing his subordinates, Brigadier Sony Limbong, on October 21, 2021.
The Head of Public Relations of the North Kalimantan Police, Kombes Budi Rachmat, said he had met directly with Mr AKBP Syaiful Anwar.
“I made a mistake (admitted AKBP Syaiful). I have met him. He said he was annoyed, so he made a mistake,” said Budi when contacted, Wednesday (27/10).
According to Budi, such acts of persecution should not have occurred in the Polri institution.
Violence to discipline members is unacceptable and cannot be justified because the Bhayangkara Corps has procedures and mechanisms to provide sanctions for members who violate it.
“The sanctions can be verbal warnings, written warnings, physical actions such as push-ups, and even dismissal. The mechanism is not done because of emotions,” said Budi.
Propam Field Polda Kaltara has conducted an examination and deepening related to the alleged violation of the code of ethics by AKBP Syaiful.
It is known that this case went viral after a video of the abuse of AKBP Syaiful Anwar was spread on social media.
