AKB launches its campaign for Féguifoot: “it is time for things to change in our federation”

CONAKRY- Before starting his campaign speech, candidate Abdoul Karim Bangoura AKB asked everyone to observe a minute of silence for all Guinean football players who have died. Accompanied by many former footballers including Titi Camara, Abdoul Karim Bangoura faced the press this Saturday at his home located in Kobaya (Conakry).

An opportunity for the former Guinean player and captain to officially launch his campaign to win the presidency of the Guinean Football Federation. An unprecedented union between former footballers. For him, building the future of football begins with unity. “ My candidacy is part of the vision of building the future of our football with all the stakeholders concerned. We all owe Guinean football which gave us everything. It is necessary to develop our football by creating suitable conditions for its emergence. The challenges are enormous, of course, the challenge is great but like everything always, we remain motivated to contribute our experience for better Guinean football”.

AKB’s vision revolves around unity, training, and sports infrastructure. This is why, he says, it was easy to get former footballers to join his project. “ Our project will focus on the development of grassroots football, the development of women’s football through the training of players. These are not empty promises, they are realistic and achievable ambitions, and I ask my fellow statutory members to make their choice in my person” affirmed the candidate for president of the FGF. AKB is therefore setting out to win the presidency of the Guinean Football Federation with the main support of the Syli alumni with whom it hopes to gain the trust of the statutory members following the vote on November 25.
