Praia, Aug. 25 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verde Association of Journalists’ Unions (AJOC) said on Tuesday that the organization wanted to partner with the blood bank at Agostinho Neto hospital to promote the donation blood on commemorative media dates.
Geremias Furtado made this intervention at Inforpress, at the end of the blood donation campaign with media professionals, promoted by AJOC and the Blood Bank of Agostinho Neto Hospital (HAN).
On the occasion, he explained that the association wishes to collaborate with the HAN blood bank on this “very important” file, so he suggested the possibility of promoting this campaign on the dates of social communication, namely the national day of journalist, the day of the printed newspaper, the day of the radio, the day of the television, among others.
“We want to associate the Blood Bank with these important dates for the country’s social communication, but that it be something decentralized, that is to say to bring this initiative to other islands,” he said. He underlines.
